The program “Training of Teaching Staff in the Pre-University Education System in the non-banking Financial Sector (FinTTT)” is an accredited continuing professional development program for pre-university teaching staff, based on the Minister of Education and Research Order no. 3559/29.03.2021. The target group for this program consists of 500 middle school teachers from across the country who will benefit from free financial education professional development courses from May to December 2021.

As an ANC-accredited training provider, certified by the Financial Supervisory Authority (A.S.F.), the Financial Studies Institute Foundation, in partnership with the Financial Supervisory Authority, has developed a 60-hour training program, adhering to the principles and quality standards of the educational process. By completing this accredited program over a period of 4 years, graduates will receive 15 continuing education credits.

In this regard, the FinTTT program aims to improve the level of financial education among teachers—who are influential figures among students—through a coordinated national effort, which will ensure the achievement of the main strategic objectives of enhancing the financial well-being of the population by increasing financial education levels.

The program will provide participants with access to in-person training sessions (depending on health conditions at the time of the sessions) and online sessions, study materials (manuals, online test collections, video materials, assessment tools, applications, and other teaching resources), as well as evaluation methods, in line with standard evaluation principles.

During the program, both synchronous online sessions via ZOOM and access to training materials on the organizer’s online platform will be provided. Additionally, throughout the 60 hours of professional training, participants will receive support from specialized trainers through consultation sessions.

The program will resume with new series starting on October 25.

Interested teachers can register by completing and sending their intention to participate to finttt@isf.ro

The number of participants is limited to 25, on a first-come, first-served basis.
